The artwork was absolutely gorgeous, and the story was great overall. Abel and Fiona’s relationship was my favorite part. Seeing Abel cherish her and treat her as if she were his own biological daughter, always looking after her and putting her first, was one of the most heartwarming parts of the story.
However, there were a few moments that made me uncomfortable, especially in the beginning. Fiona is an adult woman in a little girl’s body, and watching her develop a romantic relationship with the ML under the guise of friendship, while acting as if she had no idea where things were heading, felt a little unsettling. I mean, come on, girl! He was a child who desperately needed love and affection, and naturally, he was bound to fall for the first person who gave him those things.
Still, as the story progressed and I got to see just how precious the ML was, and how much he cherished and treasured his partner, I found myself thinking, “Well, okay…” I mean, who wouldn’t fall for a man like that?
I’m eagerly waiting for Wier’s side stories! Although, if the man at the end was Abel, that’s one thing… but if he’s someone else who just happens to look like Abel, then I might actually ship him with Wier.
And once again, THE ARTWORK WAS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING.
