I wish I could've liked this story more cause it started sooo satisfying but when the ml started falling for mc it was so odd
The added trauma felt like a last minute thing to make the ml seem like he had a reason to treat others like shit
Besides the weird sequence of events; ml and roses love was the most realistic part of this and it made me kind of sad seeing rose not develop from her sad backstory and just ending up dying
Cause idk what the authors intent was w this story cause they started with something satisfying w the usual revenge story and then they added the weird romance arc w ml which was unrealistic but then added all this sad bg stuff and realistic trauma responses (especially with rose and ml relationship) but him just moving on made no sense
