I don't know. He hasn't done anything that is unforgivable. He is a little bit insensitive, but he is not malicious. In contrast, Megumu is very sensitive, that's why there is angst between them. Otherwise, on a scale of terrible seme, Atsushi ranks very low. I can see why some people may not like his personality, but he is nowhere near as bad as hundreds of other seme that rape, abuse, and manipulate their partner.

I think comparing every single character's actions to rape and abuse would be keeping the bar in hell. Even if he didn't do any of those things to Megumu, he can still be considered a bad partner by some.
