there's this indonesian (or i think, malaysian? im super unsure!) fan account that posted screenshots of the author (?) replying to questions regarding the pair! and one of the responses basically goes on about how they, the author, enjoy them as a couple, and another of how you'll have to be a warrior to take mehen away from valer.
and the artist has posted art of the two under the caption "mom and dad" !!
don't worry guys, the artist (and author?) both ship them too. there are posts on twitter and tiktok of them responding to fans/or just intensifying the ship. ITS GOING TO HAPPEN I KNOW IT I KNOOOWWW ITTTT
