Gasp! Is this fr ur first time hearing about this. If so omg I'm actually happy you're learning this from me. It's a genre of manga made by gay/bi man for gay/bi man. It unfortunately has a derogatory history in Japan and stuff like that(you can search this up on your and fact check if you want), but ppl outside Japan just see it as a very beefy-buff-gay-man art. If you search it up you'll notice it kinda has a certain artsyle to it, hence why some ppl saw it as an artsyle now too
