I came to yap here. After reading the spoilers, I just can't see Dernick in a positive light. He's had his taumatic moments, yes. But compared to what Kishshin had to suffer in two lifetimes, I just can't bless his marriage with FL. Kishin deserved so much better. Also, probably because I'm an one wife, one husband kind of person, I can't accept the fact that FL came to love Dernick in the second timeline. How about Kishin then? Maybe FL and Dernick will have a baby together in the future. How about the baby she had with Kishin? This baby who couldn't even get a chance to see the light. My heart hurts when I think about it. People are calling Kishin selfless and romantising him on waiting for FL even in the afterlife. But man, I prefer him moving on instead. My poor Kishin loved FL only until his last breath, meanwhile FL was already chanting 'I love yous' to Dernick. I understand why FL decided to stay in the second timeline, but I'd prefer it if she divorced Dernick and stayed single her whole life until she could meet Kishin again in the afterlife. That's what they promised after all. I feel betrayed for Kishin. This story has its bittersweet moments but I swear Kishin had the worst. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
