lord i have like an essay of things i want to rant abt this but there's this major point: the timeline and pacing are just insanely distracting. You're supposed to add to the current situation with all these info abt the past, instead there's this like 70 chapters (out of 138) focusing on the past alone, completely separate from the current setting cuz the problems are different, the mc is different, hell even the ml's hair is different and the artstyle jumped forward after that so might as well call it an entirely different story. Like either you give us that whole story within a shorter time, or try to mix it with the current story in a balanced way. I completely forgor about Ian as a character for a second and when he's here, it's hard to even follow him cuz I'm so used to how Brian would act and think. Ian himself didn't even get fully developed yet, a full fledged character jumped in the middle, then back to him being tangled up left and right with that manipulative toxic two faced ahh mf, like the headache just keeps getting worse. Also why th is there another villain being added As if Lorkan aint enough of an eyesore after all these turmoils already
