You right but I see in the current chapter which is ch. 34 there seems the to be a settle introduction of a person which the MC could tell to be an omega. I'd guess it's a second couple with the bestfriend of the MC. I hope it has its own story instead of overlapping the mains... Let's hope

I hope the captain never be the 2ML, I want real friendship, usually the reader hate the MC's friend because they end up liking MC too
Usually in toxic relationship story so that the toxic ML will look better compare to MC's friend
the author usually want to make toxic ML but they don't know to make the reader believe that the ML actually deserve the MC so they make the MC's friend look worse
But it's not necessary in this story right? Cause imo the ML aren't that bad compare to other toxic ML
For example BL like, feel my benefits, pond with flower, cause if the reader in their right mind instead of comparing the real scum ML with MC's friend, they should aware that the author have purpose to make the MC so undesirable that the only men who like the MC is only the toxic type
