i think this was a beautiful ending and I'm saying that as someone who was wishing soo badly that ian reaches jo at the gas station and then they leave together and live happily ever after but tbh shinwoo's only happiness ever was tj it was never going to be anyone else they both were more than lovers and family to each other. I think jo was a fresh breath of air for ian who gave him softness and love again when he needed it the most in his life and his love was so so so selfless and so pure it just made ian finally gather his thoughts because of him being by his side and honestly I loved their relationship. when tj asked to go back home finally at the end it was everything ian ever needed. I genuinely loved reading this soooo much omg and I was rooting for both, ian and jo, ian and tj. (More so for jo I'm sorry that's my baby) and also i don't think anyone should be surprised that ian didn't end up with jo, the foreshadowing for tj and ian ending up tgt was strong throughout it all, especially when jo asks ian if he should also call him shinwoo and he says it's fine and he can just call him ian bc that's him name too but I think that was also an indication of showing how much tj and his past matters to him. Also to add on one important thing Ian loved jo as well he adored him so much it cannot be said in words and he was ready to do it all for jo and his loved ones. Ian really is everything to me :(
