I know this is a slice of life so it’ll be tedious but I wished they actually stuck the the slice of life part, like focused on the animals, plants and neighbors a little bit.
The side plot with the animal traps was where it went down hill from there I think, it was VERY engaging in the beginning until the plot tried to become an actual plot, a half assed plot will always be worse then a no plot and the half ass plot is making it so hard to push through, and they keep continuing the side plot with the scientists when I feel no engagement or energy for it.
Like what happened to the beginning parts of his powers and all that, and they interesting parts of the story they never dig deep anymore, like the 2 second of screen time from his brother didn’t add anything you might as well not add him to the chapter if it wasn’t going to amount anything. Especially more disappointing when you remember how the brother and his group was introduced and how engaging that part was.
I wish they did dedicated story arcs like Healing Life Through Camping In Another World, like you can see what they’re trying to do but it just falls flat cause they really don’t know their audience that’s why it’s at a 9.4 now instead of its previous higher rating, and it frustrates me because it had the potential to be one of the slice of life greats of manhwa.
