As I’m sitting here reading through ch.53 these are the key points that I have . 1. Why would a knight who believed a wizard was controlling his master, seek the help of another wizard? Counter productive don’t you think., 3. How can Curtis BLINDLY trust another wizard outside of Narcis again, JUST because they knew each other whe. He was young??? Is that not the EXACT reason and way he was tricked THE FIRST TIME. 3. Lastly, the SA scenes were OVERBOARD. I found myself skipping through a few chapters because MAJORITY of the chapter was SA. For that a star was deducted- making this a 3/5 instead of a 4/5. I mean seriously. And then the author writes that Narcis has to watch. And let’s not forget how Curtis was walked through the streets of his OWN KINGDOM- and violated by his people. I mean does the author hate his own character?? My god, it leans toward a humiliation kink or something.
