everything about the main characters was perfect for me. their backstory, their motivations, everything. and i ADORED the fact that echo was kinda of like the emotional beat (?) of this story. that the story ended w his grave finally being dug by two forsaken souls that have found happiness in each other and that they fought back and never gave into fate like he said, and are now able to die on their own terms???? i teared up. one of my absolute favorites
