One thing I hate about manhuas is that I have to turn off 50% of my brain just to understand the weird phrasing and inaccurate translations, even when it's the official translation to English. TT
This series seems to have a pretty interesting premise story wise, but the author's biases really showthrough in the execution (or maybe that's the translator's fault?).
I also hate how non-con and dub-con are thrown around so carelessly in this one. TT I love mermaid stories, especially ones with an art style as pretty as this, but even after reading 98 chapters, I just can't get into it.
It does made me curious enough to continue reading until chapter 98, but the story only becomes more and more disappointing the longer I read. Maybe reading the novel would be better as the manhua was not executed well.
