I adore the writing in this because it feels real lol, and the words feel poetic without teetering over anything too corny (at least imo) — I’ve been hostage to too many hard conversations that encapsulate the dynamic beteeen the leads and it’s kinda triggering lol but so delightful to read because it isn’t boring at all (the gravest sin of fiction) — I hope things turn out for the better regardless, I missed seeing Brett being shut up (fond)
