2. ok, or did he mess up (and regrets it) in the past life, so the mc tried to kill him, and now he wants the mc to actually succeed?
i'm trying to see the redemption arc, but it might not exist.
3. maybe the mc has, like, the best aura ever, and the white-haired dude wants to destroy it because he can't stand seeing such a bright light in his ideal world of chaos?
