I know this has a 9.5 rating but it's kinda bleh??

Granted, I'm only on chapter 46, but the story isn't making me want to read more at all. Everyone's comments are making me think I have to just stick through it, but I'm basically halfway through the story so idk. It just feels like Soohyun is so stoic and dry so the story feels stoic and dry too. Every love story is told in a different way, so I don't need them to be having sex every 2 seconds or super mushy towards each other. It just feels like Soohyun doesn't understand his own emotions and is hiding his actual feelings for Eunsung as disgust, envy, and hatred. Even during sex, he's constantly saying things are gross or disgusting and it's like.... then don't do it? It's also frustrating bc Soohyun is blaming Eunsung for how he feels and how his life turned out. But that has NOTHING to do with Eunsung and EVERYTHING to do with himself. But maybe I'll learn more if I keep reading idkkkkk

The storylines being told are (1) Soohyun wanting to bring Eunsung down bc Soohyun has never felt good about being number 2, (2) Soohyun and Eunsung working together to bring down that creepy older guy and save the other art pupils from abuse, (3) Soohyun slowly being able to recognize his attraction to Eunsung, and (4) Eunsung getting Soohyun to realize that they are actually similar and can enjoy each other's company.

But even with such a complex story being told, it's lacking something that makes me want to keep turning the page. Idk how to even put it in words. I don't think the story would've been better if Soohyun had a different personality or if he was openly excited to hook up with Eunsung. Maybe it's even just that both Soohyun and Eunsung are like simultaneously not enjoying life and so everything feels stale and shitty to them and it's translating too well over to me as a reader. And maybe this story just isn't my cup of tea and that's ok too *shrug*

If you've read further than me or even completed the story, can you tell me if it's worth it to keep going? Or is it going to basically be like "Welp, we solved the problem and I guess I don't hate you"
