We're still at the very beginning of this arc, okay, but with a setup like this, I'm demanding right now that Suo's childhood friend doesn't just get off the hook easily. The other antagonists had room for redemption, but this guy has been out of his mind since he was a kid.
From the way he freaked out over that gust of wind and how vaguely he glossed over what happened to Rosso, I bet he's the one who hurt him. Plus, he's obsessively possessive of Suo. And what normal person gets disappointed that their friend can't move in with them because their sick mom is still alive?!?! I bet he pitched some absurd deal to convince him to give up his eye. And now he's got his hands dirty in human trafficking.(ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻
