I remember the ending traumatized me to this day and tbh I still don’t have the courage to reread this. However after further introspection I am actually relieved that [spoiler]
[They didn’t explicitly end up together in the story cuz imho Mr Mo deserved better (yes I am biased, and as someone who is similar to Mr Secretary I will stand on that). Ik they were just humans who both happened to get into separated paths (also the open ending offered a possibility of them eventually meeting each other again later on as far as I remember). Anw it felt like these type of stories where they should just acknowledge their time together and move on. I read this with the expectation of unrealistic relationships, and even if I admitted that I actually liked their internal conflicts, I still finished the story with the same expectation. Now I just want to read Mr Mo’s story with another person. That’s pretty much it.]
