I’m also a germaphobe and this was a great representation of how it feels.
At times you just feel so comfortable with someone you don’t mind their touch but then you remember the germs, the fact they touched other items and probably even their own nose. It is dreading and disgusting. It makes you feel an uncomfortable tingling in your chest and it isn’t pleasant. I have 6 alcohol filled spray bottles in my house only to disinfect different stuff and barely go out due to the amount of dread going out gives me. The world is disgusting in hygiene terms.
My only complaint was that the protagonist touched their face two or three times in the vol.1 before they got over the phobia and oh dear. I suffered the thought of those germ filled gloves touching his face. What if someone sneezed on their hand, grabbed a door handle only for the MC to touch it and then touch their face. It’s so yucky…
