Before anyone come at me with "Stockholm syndrome"... Is Taeui a victim? Yes, obviouslyilay never locked him up and made him isolated from everyone. Let's not forget how many times he has expressed his attraction to ilay before and after he got raped. He is fully aware and best himself over it. He calls himself schizophrenic. He victim of Stockholm syndrome doesn't act like this!!! He had the chance to run off with xinlu ( even if ilay catches him later), he chose ilay because obviously he's good at heart who doesn't want anymore people to get hurt by ilay's hand but also he still feels attracted to ilay and has feelings for him.

i agree that tae is a masochist... but dont say that ilay never locked tae up etc.. tae cant run away anyways .. its not like tae never tried it .. ilay threatened him and found him everytime so te has no option anyways..so i would call it forceful stockholm syndrome.. coz tae was trapped in a way

Lo tiene en la novela, pero su desarrollo emocional solo llega a Tae. Es muy sutil la autora, lo lindo de esto es que ves muy pequeños cambios en toda las novelas hasta llegar a la última.
Son tan pareja casada de 80 años.
Taeu en los capítulos anteriores en la novela decía que le encantaba al final, o sea... Es contradictorio. Por eso también me confundía y preferí no discutir los gustos de Taeu.
Solo leyendo la novela podrían entender la dinámica emocional atrás.

I really love Ilay's character! I love he stays consistent and true his character from the start to end. A true evil sociopath who doesn't have basic human emotions. Sorry to all the people who expected him to have a character development. There's none. He stays evil bastard till the end. And this is what I love the mosttttt!!! The way he doesn't care if taeui calls him bastard as long as taeui says he belongs to him tells you everything. He doesn't want love but attention from taeui. It doesn't matter that taeui curse at him all the time as long as he has his undivided attention you get it ??? All the little emotions he showed because of his unhealthy obsession. I won't call it "love"... I don't think he's capable of loving someone the way normal people do. His feelings for taeui is so twisted and it's so scary but fascinating at the same time!! I love love love his character and this manhwa a lot. And also taeui, my baby I'm so sorry you had to go through all this trauma :( i really want to say something controversial. Yes taeui is a sunshine, cutipie and everything good but he's not right in the mind too. You don't feel attraction for a sociopath rapist killer unless you're fucked in the head so yeah he might be good but he's twisted in the mind too :)
