I'm crying for real... That's so sweet and heartbreaking...
╥﹏╥
At least, they could live together until they were old, just like they wished. Their baby is alive and have a happy family together... that's so perfect. And in the end, they died together. My heart is at peace with such a beautiful ending. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
╥﹏╥ I'm still crying...
Actually, she miscarried after that fatso punched her in the belly. It took them a few years before they had another baby, whom they named Dahui, which was supposed to be the name of their first baby.
Yeah, it's bittersweet, but I really loved their story. In the very last part of Epilogue 3, there was a scene that, from my understanding, seemed to showthe afterlife, where they were together again. :)

The ending is bittersweet, but I love it! 100/10. Read only if you want spoilers. This contains parts of Epilogue 3, so this is only for impatient readers like me. I suggest playing “Kalapastangan” by Fitterkarma while reading it.
Epilogue 3
Had it really been thirty-seven years since they first met?
Ixor let out a gentle laugh and drew Daon closer to his chest. She lay still in his arms, her eyes peacefully closed, looking exactly as she always had. The only difference now was that she had stopped breathing forever.
She had taken her last breath in the early morning hours, slipping away with such a peaceful smile that it seemed she had simply fallen into the sweetest of dreams.
Even after all these years, his memories of their beginning remained crystal clear. In his heart, she would always be his beloved lady.
Time had etched lines around her eyes and mouth, but kissing her still made his heart flutter like a young man's. He had always wanted to be her perfect match—even as silver threaded through his hair, even as his joints protested on rainy days. No matter what, he would always be her man.
Ixor stroked her hair with infinite tenderness, memorizing the feel of each strand.
Soon her body would lose its warmth and grow cold
He pulled her closer, wrapping her in his own warmth, and began to hum the gentle lullaby he used to sing whenever she felt unwell. His lips brushed against her ear as he sang softly, just for her.
Outside their window, the sky slowly brightened to a pale blue. Dawn was breaking on the first day of a world without her.
A quiet knock interrupted the silence, and the door opened. Their son Dahui entered the room, but Ixor raised a hand to stop him.
"Quiet now. Your mother is sleeping."
"Did she have a better night? Is there any improvement?" Dahui asked, his voice heavy with worry.
Ixor tilted his head slightly, a sad smile playing at his lips. "You don't need to worry about her anymore."
Relief washed over Dahui's face at these words. With a meaningful look, Ixor gestured for his son to leave. The door closed softly, leaving just the two of them alone in their bed, their private world intact.
Ixor adjusted his hold on her slightly and noticed how strangely light her body felt now that life had left it. From the very first day they met, she had never quite filled his arms completely, always leaving him with a quiet fear that she might slip away. Even now, at the very end.
He had worn many titles in his life: King of a nation. Head of a powerful family. Father to their children.
Each role came with crushing responsibilities and endless duties. But in these final moments, he cast them all aside like old clothes. He chose instead to be simply one thing: the man who loved this woman.
Time would try to steal his memories. Her face might fade from his mind. Even love itself might weaken with the years.
That's why now—in this moment when he knew he couldn't bear to live without her—he decided they should leave this world together.
"My darling," he whispered, "they say funerals are meant to help us let go and move on. But I don't want to forget you or let you go. We'll leave the funeral arrangements to those who can manage without us."
His voice took on a playful tone, the same teasing note she had always loved. "Besides, you'd be terribly lonely and bored without me there. Obviously, I need to come along to keep you entertained."
Still humming the last notes of their lullaby, he twisted the hidden compartment in his ring and tipped the poison into his mouth. With one long, final breath, he buried his face in her sweet-smelling hair.
Rich morning sunlight poured through the latticed windows, bathing their entwined bodies in golden warmth. The first day without her—no, that wasn't right. This was the first morning of their reunion in a better place.
As his eyes drifted closed, a deep peace settled over him like a warm blanket.
This was true eternity.
Sharing his last warmth with her, becoming one as they drifted into endless sleep together—this final chapter of their love story filled him with perfect, complete satisfaction.
