I’ll be honest - I was really hoping bottom at least tried to have other partners aside from ml…it would be so much better for both his and my mental health. But no, we once again have a case of 3 yo Chasity marathon….sigh…. Realistically, he would need someone older, more stable, someone who he could connect better to and who could help him and guide him in right direction with his illness, but this will never happen in this kind of work. The ml throughout the first season was an immature little bitch(with his traumatic aspects too, obviously), and I don’t see how it changed much in 2nd season. Instead of seeing that the bottom is not in his right mind and, obviously, drunk, he proceeds with having sex bc of being apart for such a long time. Lemme be a future teller for a second, his little mr coersion ex will come back again, he will once again bicker with him instead of drawing clear boundaries or making it clear how disgusting his actions are, will once again hide his connection with him from the bottom who will once again spiral into mental breakdown!! Yayyy!!! What a great first relationship experience for him. It would be a best course of action for both of them to get a thorough therapy and stay away from each other, at least until both of them mature and move past traumatic and unhealthy obsession and connection to eachother. Alas.
Still a great work, and despite my harsh words I do like both mc and ml with their respective battles and characteristics. Just not their relationship - this was not a correct state to enter them, and it probably won’t be right now either. And I do pity the bottom the most, I really do. At least 1 healthy relationship aside from the one with mc could do wonders for him.
