One hundred percent. The flashbacks go out of their way to showthat their relationship was a lot more than just esper and guide. And even though Konrad also loves now Fabian, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t still love Jerome who was his lover for all that time. Even when they said goodbye there was a lot of sadness and grief that would only be possible from Konrad if he was truly in love. There’s a bunch of other proof I’m just tired rn lol
