The main characters showmercy to the parents who abused/tortured their child and other multiple children, but the wolf mercenaries get a measly comment about how no one loved them. :/
I feel like this could have been really great. Lots of interesting elements to explore, and the art style is really unique. The plot around the cousin and ML could have been so emotionally impactful - was hoping to see more of that. Especially after learning that the cousin was abused in that laboratory and created to essentially be mauled by ML.
Honestly love a good story that explores concepts of belonging, love, loneliness, healing from abuse etc but this was just not it.
Ahhh the ML is so toxic. He’s a rapist and embodies some of the worst characteristics in male characters. Lord every time he opens his mouth I aged 50 years. And even in the MC’s school fantasy the ML neggs and rapes him as ‘Emma’.
When the ML shoved his claws up the MC’s butthole I think my spirit left through my mouth. :(
