Very very interesting premise but the overall progression of the story was mid and what is that sloppy ending bro I can't— why is the FL STILL the one chasing after the ML and why couldn't he even put together enough words to reassure her for once? especially when the one thing she has been asking him for the last time is certainty. Like, THIS IS THE ENDING. This is where you finally give her the reassurance, the clarity, and the emotional payoff that the entire story has been building towards. He could've said so much more instead of leaving her with another bare minimum response
