The way I look at it for the MC and the FMC is that he’s in an unrequited love with her BECAUSE of his character setting. He got to break the fourth wall and see how all the chess pieces align for the grand scheme of the game, but he’s still just a pawn who can’t even die how he wants if it’s outside of the storyline.
Something is also definitely wrong with the FMC, too. I don’t buy her ditz personality when she wrecks MCs plans and she’s always making these off facial expressions (she also seems wholly uninterested in ML despite her own character setting, which has been consistent for every lifetime thus far.)
Guys, I feel so bad for the prince he is being forced! Also, why do the blond guy want to save the girl when she is not even worth saving like this is self inflicted harm atp. Is it bad if Im hating the girls in this? Even the empress jump ship to the king after the duke. Im for women but this ain't it. Why are all women here u likable except the dukes daughter (i bet shes the only real thing here) Even blond mc is unlikable dafk. I like the green haired prince more tbh.
