Tae will put himself in similar situations in the future where he stubbornly refuses to abandon certain characters that might harm him, and will harm him, ilay tries to interfere and make him leave but since it’s the same personality that made tae tolerate ilay and caused him to stay by his side, ilay decided to just let him do what he wants and protect him.. so in summary tae wont change, this is just his personality
