Ngl but I hope Chiaki didn't see Akemura committing the Malediction OR nearly killing Chihiro, first it would make me a bit sad knowing she (probably?) died whilst hating him (for a valid reason though, let's not kid ourselves) and secondly imo it wouldn't make sense for her to see him committing these atrocities, most likely telling Kunishige what she saw and then Kunishige STILL entrusting the Shinuchi to Akemura. We still don't know what exactly she saw though so I'll just let Hokazono-sensei cook.
