wtf? stupid viewfinder? viewfinder is the best manga, this mangaka has some nice covers but the art is shitty, it can't be compared to yamane sensei's art which is a masterpiece, best art ever. so i'd say people has really good taste. so chill and wait, it's not that great

Yes, of course Ayano Yamanes art is beautiful, this doesn't mean her manga good because of that. I personally don't like viewfinder or crimson spell.

Even when people complaints about this manga they still read it anyway... Why? Because its just fucking good !! I love the characters and love when she does flash back story we get to learn more bout that persons history which is futile for me anyway lol. compared to yamane's the art is really shitty but ok if i don't compare it the art here is regular, weird faces and the characters all look alike, sorry but for me the art is a turn off and there are thousand of bl with better art and thats why they are updated and this one isn't. sorry if i hurt your feelings.

@sora: the problem is the last chapter, there were 3 groups do it at the same time. This time, one group dropped it bc they doesnt want to do something other group is doing, maybe the other two groups were afraid the same thing, and the plot is complicated, which takes longer time to translate. I hope u get accurate info before u assume things.
In VF, Crimson spell, u can distinguish easily the characters clearly bc it has different settings, guys w/ long hair and clothing, but all her seme and uke from her other manga are still similar.
From this manga, I have no problem telling who is who so Idk what ur talking about.
Also, the art is amazing, characters look like men. Other fans who are artists themselves think her art is the best. So we pretty much dont care about u.

im a fine art grad so i really want to have a say in this bc some of what has been said on here is just utter BS. yoneda kou senseis art is one of the most accurate out there when it comes in terms of anatomy in the yaoi world, veiwfinder ain't got shit on this. yoneda kou also writes some of the most interesting plots and all of the characters are really well made, unlike veiwfinder. But don't take me wrong, i love the veiwfinder series but lets be honest guys, it's mostly about sex isn't it? and the plot is highly unrealistic

Yamane's art is beautiful but she definitely lacks good plot or I think she does. Especially in viewfinder, I like crimson spell, but yoneda kou definitely knows about plot. She is able to create emotion in her characters and quite honestly I don't see how you find he art as bad. All the proportions are great, body position done very nicely, facial expressions always reflect the emotion she is trying to convey(sorry I can keep rambling since I envy her great art). She is truly marvelous in my opinion, but I respect your opinion too. I understand that not everyone will like yoneda kou, but I don't understand how you compare the two mangakas when the only similarities they have is that they write mangas about yakuza. Other then that plot wise everything is different. Still I don't understand how you can say that the reason they don't update is because of the art lol, that doesn't even makes sense. I've seen many mangas updated even with both horrible art and plot, but clearly you haven't seen how in demand this Manga really is.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the art. I think it suits the story, none of them are too feminine or have disproportionate bodies. I personally love this manga for the plot. I think this story would feel wrong if it had art like crimson spell or viewfinder.

I agree with yaoi lover, j, and mon. And sora need glasses. I have no complaints at all with Ayano yamanes cause I love her work as well. Yoneda kou does not draw look a likes, she actually draw pretty realistic I thought? I thought maybe she hires models to pose for her.

Why does many VF fans seems so hot headed? (sigh) Calm down OK? It's just a matter of preference..
And, why do talking about the art? Is that really everything that counts in manga?
I think story plot & character personality are much more important aspects..

I agree too, no art is shitty.
It all depends in our tastes, someone will find someone art pretty when others not at all, we can fight for days we won't all have the same opinion.

It's normal if sometimes you don't like the art or that you find another better, but that doesn't mean it's shitty, because nope it's not a fact, you simply doesn't like it, it's just your own opinion :)

It's like for example, Shungiku Nakamura or Nanao Bohra's art, I can't stand it, while someone else really love it.
And I don't say it sucks, it's just simply not for me.

I also find Amane-sensei's art gorgeous but I like Yoneda-sensei's art as well, they're different.

And seriously the plot is more important than the art when you choose to translate or not a manga (even if the art can be really important too)

Well, yamane ayano's art is sure pretty, but yoneda kou's is more realistic. There are only two mangakas who draws very realistic man body and gestures for me: zaria and yoneda kou. Love them XD But people, don't fight about things like this. It feels like you fight because I love pink when you think it is a disgusting colour. Anyway, i don't see the need to compare VF and this one. I'm a fan of both and each one has its own charm, so.. And it's true, i think the story is more important than the art :).

But I agree with you. Like fujisaki kou and mizukami shin (?). I don't think their art is good because the drawing isn't proportional and kind of weird. But, man, the stories are AWESOME. I really got caught up in the stories that I started to like the art and found it sexy, hahaha :D

no but you can't compare zaria to yoneda.
zaria is more at yamane sensei's level, this one, i don't see any realistic man in her works, and shin sensei, all the stories are the same, rape and uniforms but i still like them. but yoneda sorry, i can't with her art, i wish it was better so i could enjoy it. i see her covers and i like it but inside the art is not the same, it's really disappointing.

Can we just stop about the art thing coz everyone has different taste? And most of us are art amateurs, so I think its OK to say we like it or not, but to the point of comparing or criticizing, we are not to that level yet.
And yes, the art is not everything about the manga. Kano Shiuko has good art but her characters always cheat without a care, thats why after Punch Up, I never like her other works.
But if u really cant stand it, then its OK not reading it. I mean there are some mangaka that have art I dont like, its regrettable but I just dont read their manga.

I'm the complete opposite. I don't find yamane art that great, maybe because I feel like all her characters look the same only with slightly different hair or longer hair. I like yoneda kou's art, but it's not the best either. If you want an artist with realistic man check out Chen Jo (TogaQ), both these artist are nowhere even close to her level. Just looking at her bl work makes me drool.

sora, since you like zoria senseis and also yamanes works i think it has less to do with the actual facial drawings and the anatomy and more about how smexy it is and how much cock you get to see
