His mother died so he was brought to the king but he doesn't want to be a prince so he lives in a stable where servants check on him to try and convince him to be king. The kid in black is one of the children that live with the king. The king collects pretty orphan boys to fuck and keep at his castle. The kid in black is one of them and they are not related.
