I hate Keiichi too. He's abusive and a jerk to everyone but, the world the author made for him only praises and rewards him for it. It's intensely frustrating.
(especially, since, like you, I actually like the other characters!)

(honestly. I was all ready to drop this series, but then my favorite character, Kokonoe, showed up. A character from a series BEFORE the author apparently developed a fetish for mentally-abusive-assholes.
Normally I just kinda skim this series because I still have a bit of fondness for how the werecat series used to be ;_; . And I still foolishly hold hope that one day the author will move past her fetish and Keiichi will get his comeuppance.

From the very start of the Kuroneko Kareshi series, I didn't like keiichi. All the other characters are so good though(づ￣ ³￣)づ
