In fact, the number one reason I don't like Aoi is because she want to be seen as a good girl but on the inside she just judged someone she don't know and didn't hesitate to think of herself as superior despite not knowing anything about the situation. She can act like a victim and mighty all she wants but this is just hypocrisy. This is how I see it anyway. And she just keep on crying all the time. Being sensitive is one thing but there is definitively something wrong with someone who cries that much. In real life won't you feel the need to try to get her counseling?
Well I think that's reasonable reason for disliking Aoi but I think that's most likely because of her background, since she most likely isn't used to hardships or relationships. She's also really young (she was in middle school, right? So she's 15 at most I don't remember if her exact age or grade have been mentioned) but that kinda gives her some excuse. Also I thinks she most likely assume things without actually knowing anything because she just wants to be the best for Minato and because she's jealous of whoever is his girlfriend, she sees and assumes the situation as she wants things to be, so that she would have a chance with Minato.
Aoi crying all the time can kinda be explained with all the above and with the fact that she's probably stressed and don't seem to have anyone to talk about it. I mean we don't know if she had any friend even before her family went bankrupt but now she definitely doesn't seem to have any (unless I forgot and I'm too lazy to check, sorry about that ╮(￣▽￣)╭ ) Also I don't think Aoi wants to be seen as a good girl but she wants to BE good girl. I think best example being her trying to not like Minato after knowing that he has a girlfriend and not realizing that it's okay before Ririko tells her.
I think Aoi has great potential to grow and become a good character which is the reason I decided to post in the first place. I would actually be happy to see couple extra chapter about how thinks end up for her since it's pretty obvious that Minato most likely isn't going to like her back.
By the way reason for me even posting is because I only saw one other post not hating Aoi and/or wanting to kill her which i thought seemed kinda unreasonable. She hasn't even done anything (yet....? I might still change my thoughts on her based on he behavior in future chapters... but thus far she was been okay in my opinion though as you mentioned she is little too sensitive) Damn, this became long reply / post... This might be just me but I still don't really hate Aoi. Reason being that I still think she has no ill intentions and most likely kissed Minato on the spur of the moment thinking and hoping that Minato and Ririko broke up since Minato didn't have the keychain.
I admit that, that was a really stupid assumption to make just from that one little piece of evidence but then again she's really young and naive. Also still pretty sure that she doesn't have any chance with Minato and the moment Minato finds out about her feeling, he's going to reject her and that's it.
I think the only way to make me actually hate Aoi is to see her actually actively trying to break Ririko's and and Minato's relationship. As of right now, she hasn't done anything like that and I hope she doesn't become malicious character who does that.

Yeah, well like I said Aoi's really naive (to the point that she really is kinda unrealistic as a character, but then again she was somewhat of a rich, sheltered kid, so.... (at least that kind of image I got from her)) And by the way I'm just making it clear that I'm not saying that she hasn't done anything wrong, of course she shouldn't have kissed Minato and she definitely should stop assuming things without getting confirmation from the people who are actually involved. I'm just saying that I find all the some of the dislike and hate little weird (FOR NOW, I mean I find it weird for people who haven't read beyond chapter 38 to have so much dislike for Aoi because she hasn't done anything that is actually harmful for Ririko's and Minato's relationship as in Aoi kissing Minato isn't going to break their relationship) (And I'm repeating myself but she hasn't had any ill intentions, and for now, she isn't trying to break Ririko and Minato up, she actually wanted to get over him (she just failed miserably at that (￣∇￣") ))
I just really hope Aoi isn't going to cause some misunderstanding between Ririko and Minato. If she does something like that on purpose I might come to dislike her (just a little bit depending on the situation though) But we'll see about that. I saw a couple comments saying that people defending her are going to regret it, so... Based on those comments, she should be becoming a real bitch in future chapters. This girl don't know what hardships the one who's really going through hardships is Hayakawa not a lot of people can do what she's doing paying the bills working two jobs going to school cooking cleaning and still smiling well in High school, Aoi only has to go to school cook and clean plus bankrupt doesn't mean poor. I just don't understand why she still likes Hayakawa boyfriend after finding out Hayakawa is the girlfriend she didn't even talk to Hayakawa about it at least the second cousin has the balls to tell Hayakawa that she likes minato. Well we haven't seen Aoi interacting with Ririko a lot lately and if I'm not wrong, we've seen them meeting once after Aoi realized that Ririko was Minato's girlfriend and if I remember correctly the last time they met (or the last time we were shown that they met) was the time Ririko confirmed Aoi's suspicions about Ririko being Minato's girlfriend by showing a picture of Minato.
I don't see why Aoi should meet up with Ririko just to tell her that she likes her boyfriend... I mean sure if they had known each other sometime longer, but in Aoi's and Ririko's case, they haven't known each other for long and they don't know each other too well either so it would be pretty weird thing to just bring up. Also for now Aoi hasn't have any intentions to do anything about her feelings (I mean she did kiss Minato but it was on the spur of a moment situation and she seemed to regret it) and she honestly seems to try to move on and forget Minato, She just hasn't succeed yet. She doesn't want to try to broke them up (YET, i hope she doesn't in the future either)
On the side note taking that key chain was really stupid and she shouldn't have done that, it's just going to make her look bad and cause stupid misunderstandings (probably didn't really think about and can't give it back because she went and took it in the first place (￣∇￣") #－.－) ).
She knows nothing about anybody including minato the only thing she knows is her feelings she don't care who she hurts I know girls like that just because you like somebody man and you don't really know is girlfriend doesn't give you the right to hoe it out people get hurt. Oh well it's just a story anyways I'll just wait for the next chapters
I don't really get all the hate Aoi is getting, I mean she just happens to like Minato and only thinks herself as better than Minato's girlfriend cause she doesn't actually know her or that Ririko, the girl who she already have met and who helped her and even advised her about her feelings towards Minato, is the one that is Minato's girlfriend. Also last two chapters have been somewhat (if not completely) from Aoi's perspective, so we know that she doesn't have ill intentions (unless those have been left out on purpose but I myself seriously doubt that) That's just my opinion though ╮(￣▽￣)╭
