I get he want to protect the semes rep but he is not the only one who has a say on the child he didn't impregnate himself and judging by the semes attitude he won't care about his rep and he would prioritize the uke and the child the ukesbaction were more selfish than selfless if he worried about the rep why would he aven agree to accept the semes feelings at the end.
