But the seme never shaved his pubes? If you are referring to the last two pages, it looks like the shaved one is the uke. There's quite a difference between being shaved and being bald. Specially in that area where hair tends to be rather thick.

It was most likely the seme. The last few pages were flashbacks of him finding out the uke's secret. Also, the story he told about him being bald down there is pretty implausible. And since it is a fictional piece, him shaving himself and having the area there be completely smooth wouldn't be too far fetched

The first colored page isn't a flashback but the one with the razor is. The scenes with flashbacks have a black border. Also, shaving yourself isn't manipulation but shaving yourself with the intention of approaching someone and lying to them in order to get them to trust you and ultimately convince them to do what you want is. So if you use make up with the intention of tricking someone, then yes, it is a manipulation device. Anything can be used for manipulation.

Yes. Anything. But this was not the case. The seme wasn't manipulating him. And he even shows the uke that he has no public hair right after hearing their friends in the hallway. For him to have shaved himself clean, if that were the case, the timeline doesn't make sense. Also, black borders are usually used for flashbacks, but black background (which is used here) is used to highlight an element, an idea. Not for flashbacks.

That was from the translators, not from the actual mangaka, so it's possible they misinterpreted. Also, if you looked closely at the last uncolored page that shows the uke's entire body, you can see his pubes. And it's the unedited "original" version, so I'm pretty sure the mangaka was hinting that the seme shaved himself.

If you're talking about the timeline, it is a bit confusing. I mean, it doesn't say he went to him immediately after he heard them talking about it. And it doesn't take that long to shave it, so it is possible he did it and then went to the uke. There was also the scene with the girls, which probably happened when the uke "forgot" his book. And the uke's friends did say they saw his micropenis before. So the seme could have seen that the uke had a small penis, and after he heard the girls, he shaved himself in preparation and he wanted to find the right timing to go to the uke. Idk about the timing tbh bc it's not that clear, but in the last uncolored page with the uke's whole body, it shows that he still had his pubic hair.
Even if that wasn't the case, the seme still manipulated the uke because there's no need for half of the things he convinced the uke to do in order to fix the uke's problems.
As for the black background, it's specifically used to show the flashback in the last chapter. The coloring kind of throws the whole flow off, but you can see that it goes along with the flashbacks.

It's not really a dark plot twist, but what is kind of dark is how the seme (even if he didn't mean to) took advantage of uke's low self esteem issues and fear. Honestly it seems like the uke is with him because he doesn't want to be alone and thinks no one else will want him, which is sad.
