As much as i would like to ship them, their relationship is toxic. They aren't even clearing up the misunderstanding. The seme was such an ass for leaving him like that and the uke shouldnt be so blind. Honestly their relationship is awkward and makes this story uncomfortable to read.

I wouldn't say it's toxic. Yes they need to talk but there's nothing dangerous or sick going on.
Ye Zi has been in love with him for a long time and the other too. Time has passed but they still love each other, is that toxic for you?

Yes. Especially, with how the uke is given advice to seduce him. The seme teated him horribly regardless of the past tension.

Okay so I have a question.

Wouldn't Ye Zin being a "crybaby" be a result of being abused and his mother killing herself? I mean, instead of the characters getting onto him about crying all the time, shouldn't he like seek counseling or something? As far as I can tell, he was really mentally damaged by everything that happened and I can see why. In my opinion, the seme abandoning him like that was a low blow. You can't seriously expect someone who has been physically and emotionally abused since they were born, bullied by other kids, and have their mother kill herself and expect them to come out of it alright mentally.

Exactly. That's why in my opinion them being together is toxic

My thought exactly one of them has had a hard life and simply needs alot of care and love. But that jerkoff leaves him for a small misunderstanding which he knows almost nothing about. That brown haired shit should either fuck off or finally be a responsible human being and take care off his damaged adopted brother.

Wait saying that Ye Zi is still suffering from a trauma because of his upbringing doesn't necessarily mean that the relationship is toxic. I mean, for me the seme is an asshole and should go away or be more mature and take his responsibilities, but that doesn't mean that Ye Zi is loving him just as a result of his past trauma

Maybe the others don't know the full story. I mean, if you meet someone you don't brag about all your bad experiences right? That's probably what made happen the misunderstanding with the roommate, he didn't know that his being a crybaby was not just being spoiled but a defense. Also it's not that easy to go and take counseling...
