don't be scared to tell people what your hobbies are, if you let them control your fear exposing you on the things you like the most, they'll control you for everything that you do. you don't have to tell your friends what you like, if they ask you just tell them honestly, i'm sure they'll appreciate your honesty than lying blatantly. and if they expose you, i don't think they're ur friends anyways lol

Haha it's okay, I also admit that yaoi is my guilty pleasure, and it is my choice to take this path of secrecy. Besides, I don't think that my friends would talk about that stuff even if I expose it. So in order to avoid that awkwardness, I wouldn't mind being a closet fujoshi.

Also, you know that reputation stuff I said in my other comments? I don't want my friends to gain dirt from me that easily! Tbh, lying to hide something is not entirely a bad thing. I have blackmail material on them, and they have blackmail material about me. Both of us jokingly tell each other that we will expose each other, but it never really happens xD We have that type of friendship where trust exists and we get serious when needed. Haha it's a weird friendship, but we are both enjoying it. Also it's fun to see their reactions if I say things out of nowhere, so maybe I might expose myself slowly xD a secret would lose its charm when it is used int a one-time event.
