so from what i can tell. This story is about Taichi being cheated on and unable to trust/love anyone and basically faking his social life. Then the girl, kobayahsi comes around and shes like super honest with herself and doesnt do fake (she tries tho after taichi recommended it but she aint about that life) and she is extremely lonely. She gets attracted to Taichi and they do a wierd dance where Taichi doesnt want to mingle with the Kobayashi because hes a teacher (but still cares for her bcuz he relates to her) and kobayashi wanted Taichi to look at her (which is after she admits to herself that shes super lonely, and he makes her less lonely = instant crush) so obviosuly the soltution is to buy Taichi. Then Taichi is shocked at her passion and dedication towards him, even working to make money to spend on him and he trusts her a lil more. Eventually they depend on each other and Taichi cant stop his feelings and he wants to quit being a coward. He meets Saki and forgives her bcuz hes trying to overcome his distrust towards her (she CHEATED on him, buggest betrayal). And hes ready to go full throttle with kobayashi, quit being a host, see her graduate and prolly date after, basically open up. But then Kobayshi misunderstands him and Saki and the whole son thing, and thinks Taichi wants to rather be with Saki still (not realizing that hetrying to move on). --But i can see why she would do this, shes trying to mature and she wants to lvoe him and give him everything so if he wants to be with saki (which is waht she beleives) then she will let him. -- But taichi takes this the worng way and thinks Kobayashi doesnt need him which thows him off bcuz he was finally ready to open up to her, but if for her, hes just someone that can be thrown away, then obviously his trust was placed in the wrong place again. So he tries to leave. But the teacher tracks him and basically says dont run away, ur doing a good job as a teacher. So he stays for his students but the relationship between kobayshi and taichi is off. They are both suffereing from MISCOMMUNICATION (jesus). Hes hurt that she didnt understand him and almost threw him away, and she regrets her actions. Enter the black hairred dude and he mingles with kobayahsi but taichi and kobayashi have an attraction that he just cant match and they come back to each other when Taichi realizes Kobayashi is also regretting and still loves him (ready to give him anything) and so they get together again. The end. Tiachis girl friend and the blonde haired dude and itsuki were just to add to the plot i guess.
