If you don't like him, then don't go on dates. Otherwise he will get the wrong message. And I think you feel like that because you have no romantic feelings for him. If you liked him that way, you wouldn't have thought about who it is benefiting. If you like hanging with your friends more, then do that. Not everyone has to be a participant in a love game.

Scenario:
Dude invited me out. I was late so he bought the tickets. I offered to pay mine. HE refused. So I bought the food for us instead.
I mean I'm ok with sharing pay but If I would have to spend money, would rather be with my friends coz It's fun that way? Instead of being alone with a guy. I don't see any benefits coz he was the one who told me he like me and what I am seeing is that he is the only one benefiting from the dates that he wants.
Am I petty? Gold digger or what.
He is actually nice. But there is no other way to get to know him but to spend time outside but ugh. Love game is hard
