chp. 3 - Ghost marriage is an legitimate custom in South East Asia though. They would go through a formal ceremony to formally introduce the spouse into the family & then welcome her epitaph or plaque into the home. The ghost spouse would usually allow a "second marriage" for the living partner so they can have children. The children would also call the ghost spouse something like the first mom or dad.
