i re-read it to check this actually, in chapter 3, the co-workers about Seta-san and say I heard he broke up with a superior (the ex gf) so yeah it's kind of confirmed

There was absolutely no clear sign of his girlfriend cheating on him. They've been in a relationship for 5 years yet he immediately assumed she might be cheating just because he heard a guy's voice in the background? I mean she doesn't live on an isolated island. You're supposed to hear other people's voices when you're outside or at work? Talk about fragile trust lol. And feels like he wasn't even concerned enough about this whole girlfriend issue of his. Rather he was busy making a "sleep buddy" deal with another guy lol. Not really sure who cheated here. But then again his girlfriend didn't seem much concerned about him either. Maybe being in a long distance relationship for so many years, they both had fallen out of love gradually. But his girlfriend definitely didn't cheat on him.
And yes I care about the gf. Because no matter who the main characters are, I fail to act biased :)
Did he break up with his girlfriend ore did they just have a big argument over the phone? He really shouldn't get in to another relatioship, with out breaking things of with his girlfriend first. Cheating is cheating, even if the girlfriend is a bitch.
