THANK YOU to all who replied. Just want to add that me asking is totally personal. I never expect only yaoi in mangas to make it good!! I'm sure there are hundreds of good manga and stories out there with different types. People like what they like. Right now I feel like reading bl. So I asked. Doesn't mean I'm not reading this any other time because the tags definitely got me (bullying...).

It's just I have personally encountered fujoshis who actually don't read anything unless there's BL in it. They ask the same question you asked, and when people tell them to at least try it out, they get defensive. I have seen comments such as...
"Well, I'm out."
"You guys shouldn't dictate what I read."
It leaves a very bad impression when the comic does not list yaoi or shounen-ai as a genre, and people still ask anyway. Normally, if it's listed incorrectly, it's quickly fixed. At least try it out to see if you like it even without BL context. Yes, people have personal preferences, but it just seems so rude to the artist/author. Imagine how they feel when people direct those questions towards them.
This sounds petty as fuck, but it just gets on my nerves sometimes. There's a large range of fujoshis, and many are pretty open and understand what's healthy and whatnot. But there's a percentage that's too obsessed. Again, you meant not harm. I'm not directing this towards you. Just telling you why I made my previous comment.

I'd also like to tell you that I started reading this manga. I'm already on chapter 17! I like it so much! Some really messed up shit going on so far. I can honestly trust no one. Every one has got issues lol

Oh have you read Nanohana Boys? It's not bl and it's one of my favorites ever. I cried while reading it. (Well yeah I kinda wished it was romance at the time but it isn't any less perfect
