if I'm not mistaken the titans get power from the sunshine, so if the wound is covered it will not grow back. that's why Eren's leg grew back once he removed the bandages.
I'm pretty sure that shifters can heal at will, remember that time where Reiner was injured around the start of s2 where a titan bit him or when they were on top of the wall and Reiner had a broken arm trying to convince Eren to join them? Though it's true that titans are stronger in daylight.
Well this is getting sad not that this setting wasnt always depressing, but at least it looked like they had a chance when they were going for that basement but now I cant see this or Tokyo ghoul Re ending well just fuck it all (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Edit: Also why is Eren wearing all those bandages shouldn't he be healed?
