i agree, i wish there was more realism sometimes and the authors actually took some things into consideration... all the new manhwa is getting so boring because it's the same@!! people just like it cuz the art is more modern and refreshing T_T

Oh yeah, I agree completely. There’s so many yaoi I’ll read but they just follow the same cliche pattern I tend to just forget about them.

Blue Sky complex is able little more realistic, in that it shows the insecurities of the seme and uke a different parts of the story

Yep I also always forget about the titles I'm reading .
I have a way to know If it impacted me or not : If I remember the couple's name that means it was a good manga (since I don't have a good memory when it comes to names(￣∇￣"))
If not it wasn't very interesting (〜￣△￣)〜

I'm not saying its my favorite but I enjoy Harada's works primarily because its twisted and not cliche much? I do enjoy fluffy stuff too but I like reading dark stories from time to time to cleanse my palette. And Yeah, I also like that papa's assassin manga. :D

especially since most of them have the same story : a seme without parents that have been saved by the uke
and years after they discover that they have feelings for each other
the End .(and don't forget some rape and fanservice since the seme has abs )

Have you read the manhwa 'Let dai"? Its an amazing one and has some really disturbing scenes but you could give it a try?

Agree. Most mangakas nowdays dont even care,their stories are so boring and cliches that is unbeareable and thier art is not so much remarkable. Try these if you didnt read them yet

mh also aggree but in my opinion the twisted ones are (meanwhile) also cliche in a darker way. sometimes its just like "make it more twisted/ dark (doesn't matter if it make sence or not). and I think its kinda funny when people ask give me realistic plot- then names like dark heaven appear- dont get me wrong- love this one but in my opinon its dark and not realistic (assasin brother for example)(though they fight with realistic probl. but the story itself is not). for me realistic ones are really rare

Try mangas from Miyamoto Kano. The most of the mangas from this mangaka are realistic.

Oh! that manga is a gem! And yeah Dark heaven is not very realistic in my POV
The fact a manga treats realistic matters doesnt mean the story is realistic itself, the same goes to character development. A dark story doesnt equals to being realistic either and a actual realistic one is quite rare. To me what makes a story more realistic and enjoyble to is if the characters are human and create a emotional link with me, no matter the genre and plot. And I remark the characters must feel real and the character development congruent. A good one is Only you only.
