To answer your question: yes, absolutely.
The trouble is, most of these translation groups are obscure, difficult to find, with freakish membership and initiation rituals developed by people who seem to be suffering from Asperger's spectrum or borderline personality disorders, and dealing with sociopaths is, you know, such a joy. Also, downloading is not always an option. So ... people can't find them, join them or support them.
I mean, I'm sorry but I can't click on strange websites that disappear within weeks of springing up, or download files chock filled with Trojans and worms, or have rational convos with drama-queen moderators in full freak out because someone who is not me uploaded their illegally scanlated licensed manga somewhere and now they have to purge the ranks again. Fuck 'em. That's why I will come here and read it instead. And if they drop their manga projects? So what? They weren't going to make it a pleasure for anyone to read anyway.
i find it funny how your saying its annoying that people are uploading mangas on host sites like these.. and yet here you are??? i can only assume you read this manga on here for you to be leaving a comment. because its barely posted on the main page that a new chapter was out. the way i found out about the new chapter was FB.. so unless you searched for the manga itself.. you are no better than any one of us who dont download it to read them. so if your going to bitch about it stay away from sites like these. simple as that.
you know how many viruses i have gotten from downloading mangas?? its ridiculous. i have great spyware and yet it doesnt always prevent the extra garbage that comes along with dl them. and i wouldnt even know how to begin to hunt down all the different scan groups to find the mangas i want to read. i like this site because it posts mangas that i may not have known about if a chapter wasnt posted. so i know i wouldnt have found some of these amazing mangas if i had to go on a manhunt to by chance come across them.
i have much respect for the scan groups that translate and clean the mangas for people to read. or other wise i would not be able to enjoy all this sexyness that comes from yaoi. i would have no problem supporting them if most of those people didnt get but hurt over everything. i get why they get angry over it getting posted. but if your going to translate for people why not spread it out for everyone to read. the funny thing is the few sites that i have been too that have you join to download.. your downloading it for free anyways.. so whats the difference? other than maybe donations??

if you're getting viruses on your computer then that should be your computer's fault and you may need a new computer... i can download just fine without viruses... i mean that's how i can torrent movies and others...
my computer is barely a year old so no i dont need a new computer. and yes i have gotten viruses, trojans, worms etc from downloading mangas off of various sites. granite it could just be the sites i have gotten them from but still. its a pain in the ass when i either have to purge everything on my computer bc of the one manga i downloaded or having to take it in bc it caused something my spyware or my own knowledge could not take care of. but still even if i could download them virus free its still just as easy to read it off of here instead. id rather wait for mangas to be posted here than to deal with the head ache of everything else.
Personally I don't like downloading if I don't have to. And if I can't find it any where else most of the time I give up and try later. I've had to format my laptop trying to download something(not anime or manga related) so I try to be extra carefull. If I do download something I don't like right them I would reset my computer to an earlier date. I try to download manga from its scanalations' group site like http://www.Blissful-sin.com. Other than that I try to find online sites.
Maybe they have asked for permission to upload?
It's kinda annoying that someone keeps posting mangas on this site that the translation groups don't want posted. Wouldn't people rather download it straight from the source rather than have a dropped manga?!?
