Felt as though the reader was dropped unceremoniously into the middle of an ongoing story with no backstory or character set up. Who are these characters, what are the reasons behind the current circumstances, how are they associated/related and why should I care about them as a reader? This is storytelling 101. Without giving the reader anything to attach or relate to emotionally, you basically just have a rough outline of a rather dull and cliche plot. The character development through the story was equally sparse and when it did happen, it happened so quickly as to feel ridiculously contrived. The only compliment I can offer is that the art is appealing, as long as you are okay with male characters that appear more female than the female characters.
