Also, this is a small matter. He is more jealous )and will always be) of onoe's best friend who spend a chunk of their life together. You can go back the time they started dating. It's cute how this man who is hard to move lost his cool.
Still, it's so fun and refreshing when Kaburagi gets jealous since it's usually the other way around because he's the more popular one of the two. It's not often to see a jealous Kaburagi after all. I hope to see him losing his cool more often in the future ^^ And maybe even lose a bit of self-control if Isaku-sensei feels particularly generous.
That is why that part at the start when kabu walked out from onoe at the restaurant is my most favourite part and the reason why I always reread from the start lol.
And to be fair to onoe, I think he is pretty popular himself. He has this.charm to him. It's just that he doesn't realize it that's why he thinks he's just an ordinary man

Our just don't see.it. he's not andramatic type and this is not a typical drama romance yaoi so ofc he would act differently than what you guys expected. But as I said, him cutting off kasai is him being jealous. Again, this is not a drama manga.
True, Kaburagi doesn't behave like how one would expect from a jealous person. He's freaking efficient and calm LOL His acts are so subtle and controlled. The only reason some realizes he's acting on behalf of his jealousy is that the actions/decisions he resorts to are usually seen as something reckless and that he couldn't control his temper and facial expressions. Like how he just blurted out their relationship so candidly and without delicacy. Unrefined, blunt Kaburagi only happens when Onoe's involved and I'm livin' for it. The stubtle things makes this jealous Kaburagi so fun to see and watch, but I wonder how far he would go when he's threatened about Onoe. Threatened that someone will steal Onoe from him or something like that.
It's not that I'm a sucker for possessive, borderline abusive relationships, it's that I'm a sucker for Gap Moe and rare out-of-character moments. Sigh ~ <3
Onoe is charming, I agree. But his charm doesn't hit you in the face the first moment you meet/see him. His charm shines gradually as you get to know him. He's very adorable and pure omg
Um.. try re-reading the last two chapters again and you'll spot it
well first, this manga is a lighthearted story so it won't do if one of the main characters were a heavy type of person (um.. can't think of a proper term in english. it should be someone sensitive or overreacts on everything) but it doesn't mean that his love is any lesser.
onoe is a prime example of gap moe tho. and he is the very guy that inspired me to create a list in that theme. Also, I know a cute manga that has a seme that acts more of an ice queen than kaburagi but he is possessive and very jealous. ofc, it's a drama manga. readers tend to misjudge him due to his stoicness but this seme is actually loving and supportive.

Agreed! If i have to pick a guy in real life I'd prefer this outgoing Onoe seme rather than popular chill Kaburagi. (Its not tht I hate Kaburagi,my point is just tht ppl with Onoe personality is popular too! ^^)
I like cute semes. The ones who smile a lot and blushes. Unpopular opinion but I like what I like lol. I don't care. I already love onoe as uke (I normally take on the seme 's persp) so if onoe became seme he will totally become my favourite type of seme.
Me too! Im usually inclined to the ukes rather thn seme. And i find myself supporting every of the ukes act and decisions no matter how stupid or naive they are (there are some annoying types but naive isnt annoying (づ￣ ³￣)づ) uke for life xD

The seme is very sweet and friendly, and since he's the younger one of the two, he blushed a lot at first (but uh, he kinda matured and outgrew that shy blushy phase). I enjoyed the manga and the seme's character a lot! Actually, he's kinda my type HAHA!
Hm... If I have to pick a guy in real life, I would like the charming, outgoing type too! I'd like someone bright and friendly as my partner :) Personally, I resonate a lot with the quiet introverted types of character, but I like to take on the perspective of the seme often. Ah, but... I probably prefer to just be the audience and coo at both the seme and uke's personal moments.
