He's the boss he can't afford to play favs just because one of his subordinates is his lover. It was his responsibility to turn in his project and the uke understood that and worked to prove himself as an asset to the company. And it's not like he just yelled at the uke, they argued like any normal rival coworkers (or couple for that matter). Other than that he seemed like a normal in love working man seme to me. in my opinion the story was realistic in way that a lot of yaois aren't. When we grow up every second can't be about us and our romance because life isn't just about us and what we love, there's a balance.

I dunno...i wouldn't call that normal it just seemed like he was pressuring him for the sake of it, if it had been a longer manga where the characters got some establishment before this part it would probably make a difference since you may see there being trust/respect etc beforfe this moment but just starting it here makes it honestly seem like a bad relationship!

hmm i see your point. for those of us who have read hundreds of yaois and have seen bad vs ok vs good relationships its easy to say this one is an ok relationship based on inferring how the sensei imagined the entire story of them. But if you just go by what we are reading without reading into the story it does indeed seem like a bad, poorly maintained relationship, especially if this was the beginning of it.

Actually, in real life such relationships don't even last six months.
