1.probably because she wants to see Will again, and that was to get close to him or his brother.
2. the wife has this feel, where she doesn't like the mistress son.

this is just my assumption, weather its entirely true or not.
1: what des said. Idk.
2: the purpose of the wife's plan was to hurt Jeremy's dad. I think he did something unforgivable to her. And she's getting revenge on him this way. Jeremy's real mom prob died a while back.
3: the father of Angela's children is Ray. Ray had to marry her because Euan died, Jeremy disappeared and, was suck and didn't know what to do ith his life. But later he found Gab and Angela let him bc he needed it. He was dying inside. Gab is his cure. And Ray and Gab will live happily ever after. And I'm not sure who's going to take over Rays family if he leaves. Mayb Angela can, but it wud also suck raising 2 kids on her own.

I didn't understand a few things:
1- why the maid was trying to get close to ray?
2- what was the purpose this whole plan? what did the wife wanted to achieve?
3- in the end who was the father of angela's children?
maybe I didn't read carefully and they're already answered in the book so I appreciate it if you could enlighten me :D
