Already saw the raws honestly Chika is an ass he marries a woman when hotaka was already falling for him. Just because someone don't say ILY doesn't mean he doesn't feel any romantic feelings for you, my parents aren't the lovey dovey type in terms of words but they are in action. I feel chika is just using it as an excuse, he does marry the woman and hotaka falls into depression during that time masato was by his side, masato was patient and understanding towards hotaka he never pushed for anything until hotaka was ready to open up again. Chika fvucked up hotaka, I'm glad he ended up with masato and as for masatos wife they had a clean break.
