god this is so frustrating just thinking about their relationship with one another.. first of all they're not even labeled as anything(except for friends) and they can still live in the same roof?(specially the uke) i mean that's harsh to the uke,and not only that.. the seme even said something that will lead the uke to hope for something.. okay we all know that this is yaoi and it is obvious that just by looking at the cover page that they will still be together but the fuck? you shouldn't say that in a misleading way if what you are only trying to say is that he is a good friend and that you only love him as a friend..
and its not the seme's fault because he doesn't know but its the uke.. he made a huge decision that will shatter his heart to pieces.. but i kinda admire the uke that he is ready for the consequences in doing something like that. and he is realistic to admit that with their current relationship(friends) it will take a miracle for him and the seme to actually advance in a romantic level..
